Laura, nanny in Hedon HU12

My name is Laura, im 24 and since leaving school, i have always been in a job which involves looking after others. I have always cared for the elderly mainly, however, I had a 3 month stint in america working as a lead councellor at a summer camp with people with special needs. The ages ranged from 6-80 however the age group mainly who joined the camp would be aged 6-18. I am always looking for a challenge and willing to learn.
I feel over the years, i have been complimented on my patience, kindness and sense of humour when it comes to caring. I know that aswell as bringing all the fun things children enjoy, i have a serious side and when needed to will be able to show this completely.
I am a sports lover! I have always loved and enjoyed playing football, which i still do to this day! However my mum always told me that whatever sport was put in front of me i could always play really well! Whether it was tennis, volleyball, rugby or hockey! Im willing to give most outdoor activities a go! I enjoy board games, these have always been a big part of family time when it comes to my family. From monopoly to cluedo or guess who!? Im sure they are very old games now though and im willing to learn new ones!
