I would like to introduce myself as an applicant for the Nanny position advertised.

As a high-energy and organized individual, I am confident in my ability to excel in this role.

As a mother, I understand the importance raising your little ones in a positive, nurturing environment.

I have several years experience as a freelance child carer, 3 years experience working as a nanny and experience as a special needs teaching assistant (ABA Trained) working with severely autistic children.

No two days are ever the same working with children and by this acknowledgement, it’s helped me understand 3 basic steps to follow:

1. Remain calm and focussed when dealing with potentially demanding/stressful situations.
2. Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
3. The most important thing is always show empathy, warmth and kindness.
