I am Rachel, 29 years old and I am a trained nanny. I am DBS checked, have completed courses in Safeguarding, PREVENT, and Food Health and Safety. I have also completed the Level 3 Home Based Childcare Award, I just need to complete the 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course, I have completed half of this and the other will be completed when I am able to return to a course (due to Corona Virus), after this I will obtain nanny insurance and go on the Ofsted register meaning you will be able to use Childcare vouchers.
My DBS is an enhanced check from Ofsted so I have had the relevant checks.
I am great with children, have many years working with children of all ages through my sports coaching and I am dedicated to the development of a child rather than just being someone to watch your child so I would like to be with a family where I can help develop and watch your child grow into an awesome person! I am always looking to continue my professional development which is why I have undertaken training that has enhanced my knowledge and experience, most recently I have undertaken a course in Exemplary Practice for Babies so you can be assured the environment provided will allow your baby to always be learning. I am not required to do be Ofsted registered as a nanny but I think this just puts parents more at ease! In providing a number of resources such as sensory lights, sounds and picture books your child will have the opportunity to develop in a safe and loving learning environment with me.
Occasional babysitting | $10.00 per hour |
It is a reasonable price to charge and will still be £10 an hour no matter how many children are in my care from one family.
