Elizabeth, nanny in Barry

I am currently working within Cardiff Steiner School as one-to-one support assistant and unfortunately parents have made the decision to home school their child so I am looking for a new adventure/challenge. I have a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. I have 4 years’ experience working with children as a nursery nurse and also a LSA working one-to-one with a child with Emotional Behavioural development. I have good knowledge and experience of working with babies and children from 5 weeks old up to 3+. I also have several years’ experience in babysitting and child-minding. I consider myself to be hardworking, reliable and patient and have a current up to date CRB. I hold a Level 3 diploma for Children’s care, learning and development and I also have training and certificates for Food hygiene, Paediatric First Aid and Child Protection. I enjoy stretching myself, reaching goals and extending my personal development. I would describe myself as polite, fun and a positive person who enjoys being creative. I consider myself to be professional and believe children should be allowed to learn in a safe but stimulating environment whilst being able to explore their environment inside and outside. In my spare time I enjoy painting and crafts, such as scrapbooking and knitting. I am keen to expand my knowledge and experience new things within my professional carer.
