Hello! My name is Leigh and I'm 23 years old. I have a background in education and I am working towards a qualification in education studies. I previously underwent teacher training for primary school children, however I ultimately decided this was not the right job for me, however it did confirm that I love working with children of all ages. I am a very nurturing and empathetic person and I strongly believe children should be listened to and valued as the creative individuals that they are, so I strive to help children gain confidence in their abilities.

As a result of the teacher training, I have built up a repertoire of games and activities that I can use as well as a good knowledge of the national curriculum in primary schools. I have a degree in English language and literature, so i feel confident in using my academic knowledge in supporting children with homework and the like if needed.

I would love to be able to use my skills to provide tangible support to families near me, building a positive rapport and helping provide the best possible outcomes for all involved.
