Hi, my name is Trish. I am 47 years young and I have 3 adult sons and 4 amazing grandchildren!
I was an Ofsted registered childminder from 1993 to 2013. In my twenty years as a registered childminder I developed fantastic lasting relationships with the families I worked with. I took a change in direction in 2013 but it wasn't for me; I miss working with children and the challenges and fun the role brings.
In my childminding role I experienced many cultures, attitudes and beliefs and worked with children and families from every background.
I have experience of working with children experiencing dyslexia, deafness, behavioural issues, ADHD, Charge Syndrome, parental separation, feeding and sleeping issues, bereavement and neglect. I also have a wealth of experience of working with families and children who did not require any special needs assistance or interventions just fun, love, comfort and stability for their little ones whilst the parents are unable to be there and I love the role!
My highest qualification in my field is BA Honours Working with Children & Young People.
