I am twenty-five years old and looking to further my career and train to be a child care assessor but I would like to continue to work with children whilst doing this.
I am very creative, in my spare time I enjoy playing the guitar and drums and reading various novels.
I am reliable, caring, committed and punctual and enjoy providing children with new experiences for the best possible start in life.
I have worked in childcare for seven years, caring for children of various ages from six weeks old to pre-school age. I have worked in each room of the nursery, gaining experience with each age group; when I started at my current nursery I worked with the babies following their routines and providing exciting new sensory experiences for them. I then moved to the one to two year old room where I became room leader, ensuring that the children's routines were maintained helping them to feel safe and secure as they explored. I currently work in the two to three year old room as the Deputy Manager and Key Person to twelve children.
