Hello, my name is Jazmin (Jaz.)
A little bit about me:
I am 25 years old, I am originally from Suffolk and I have been living in Bournemouth since October 2017. I am someone who loves a challenge, I love a good to-do list and I like to be busy. I love to create and try new activities and I use Pinterest as my inspiration. I enjoy being at the beach, spending time with my family and learning new skills- I am currently learning to surf and skate board!
A little bit about my childcare career:
- September 2013 I began as an apprentice in a small Nursery.
- March 2015 I completed my Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce.
- Once qualified I started working for a larger corporate nursery in the 2-3 year old room.
- August 2016 I was promoted to Room Manager for the 1-2 year old room. Not long after this I became the nursery assistant manager.
- October 2017 I moved to Bournemouth and started working as the deputy manager for a small nursery. I was acting nursery manager for a short period of time too.
In all of these roles I had a group of children (keygroup) where I was their main carer (changing nappies, administering of medication, cuddles, TLC, planning and implementing activities etc.) I tracked the children's development and provided daily feedback to parents too. I have several parents that have said they are willing to provide me with a reference if needed.
My Qualifications:
- Level 3 Health, Social and Early Years Care
- Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce
- Level 3 Forest School Leader
- Paediatric First Aid
- First Aid at Work
- Level 3 Safeguarding
- Food Hygiene
- Driving License
What I'm looking for:
As you have read I have spent the last 5 years working in nursery's, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I'm now looking to provide a more personal nanny service where nursery statistics, budgets and paper work won't get in the way. I'm looking to do 30-35 hours a week (I'm willing to spread these hours across two families if needed.)
What I can offer:
- Fun and exciting activities and experiences to encourage learning and development.
- Development tracking
- Daily feedback of the day
- Photo's and a scrap book of everything your child had been doing
- Preparation of children's meals
- Children's laundry/washing up
I hope I haven't bored you too much! At the end of the day I love working with children. I love watching their personalities and characters grow and that is definitely my favourite part of the job. I'm not afraid to get messy, I can read the same story over and over, I can pretend to drink copious amounts of tea, I know most of the lyrics to Frozen and Moana, I know the names of a lot of dinosaurs and I always have a tissue to hand. What more can a child need!
