Charlotte, nanny in Bury BL9

My name is Charlotte and I am a 19 year old Level 2 qualified childcare provider. I have both personal and professional experience in working with children, from the age of newborn to 13 years of age. I enjoy playing games with children, engaging in messy play and beginning to do educational activities with pre-school aged children, such as learning to write their name and simple mathematics. I also enjoy taking them on outings to places such as the park, as I have done in my previous nursery work. As I have 2 years professional experience and over 5 years personal experience, I know how to entertain children and establish a routine for them, such as set meal times, play times and sleep times. I have a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate and am very good in the kitchen. As well as preparing meals, I enjoy helping the children I care for engage in cooking activities, such as making cakes and biscuits. I believe it is important for younger children (and older children if the parents desire) to get at least an hours rest during the day, in order for them to not wear themselves out and become tired too early.
