Alex, nanny in Buxton NR10

I'm Alex, I'm 24 years old and love working and caring for children. My other passion is dancing and I graduated from a stage school after studying musical theatre and dance. Due to this I am an active and creative person who enjoys new challenges. My performing career has allowed me to work abroad and this is when I began working with children aswell (2013).
I worked abroad in a hotel resort in Jordan as part of the entertainment team. My job being to host all the fun daytime activities for children, poolside, in the pool, on the beach, and in the kids-club. (Activities such as facepainting, aquagym, club dances, beach and pool games, and arts and crafts). And in the evening perform 2 dance shows a night the guests.
The following summer I worked in Paphos, Cyprus performing in a touring dance show team (in the evenings) and also being a children's entertainer and face painter at wedding venues around Paphos during the afternoons.
In 2015 I worked for a Princess Party Company in the UK (Birmingham area) where I would host birthday parties involving games, facepainting, singing, dancing being dressed as the child's/parents requested princess (normally Anna/elsa from Frozen, Belle from Beauty and the beast).
After that I relocated to Norfolk and worked on the entertainment and showteam at haven - Hopton hosting the daytime and nighttime activities for adults and children, and performing in the evening shows.
Most recently I have just completed a temporary contract as a Nursery Assistant in Hethersett.
Although I don't hold a childcare qualification I have my enhanced DBS/CRB certificate and 3 years of experience dealing and caring for small and large groups of children, keeping them active and happy, and most recently safeguarding babies-preschool age in a nursery/educational setting rather than entertainment environment.
