Hi my name is Mellisa. I am a married woman of 5 years with no children of my own.
I have over 5 years experience of working in a childcare setting, with deputy manager experience.

Throughout my career I have gained extensive knowledge of working with babies from 6weeks to 6 years.

I live locally and am currently working towards my driving licence.

I am able to clean & cook if needed.

My hobbies are exploring, reading, exercising &socialising. I love the outdoors.

My teaching Techniques are simple! Birth to three & foundation phase. I believe that children need to learn through play, weather it's chopping an apple or washing a baby. Real life experiences. Gardening, digging, planting. I believe that children should get messy and explore textures.

As for setting activities I believe that we should follow the children's interests. Explore and expand on what they find interesting not what I do. Encourage imagination and excitement.
