Babs, nanny in Caergwrle LL12

I am a hardworking mature (53) mother with previous experience raising my own children. Three years experience as a childrens nanny for a toddler and newborn baby when I was a lot younger.
I have no formal nanny qualifications but do have a qualification in Forest Schools and have worked in Education, both Primary and Secondary as a Learning Support Assistant for many years. I am responsible for 1:1 support in reading, handwriting and spelling to allow access to the National Curriculum.
I have a good imagination and can tell stories, bake, cook and play a wide range of games/activities designed to occupy, teach and entertain children of all ages. I can adapt to suit the needs/prefererences of the child.
As a Forest Schools practitioner I have experience of plant and animal identification and have a genuine interest in Nature, walking and outdoor activities whatever the weather.
I am willing to care for any age children and have experience working with people with a hearing or visual impairment (qualifications in British Sign Language and Deaf/Blind). I am a very practical person, quite maternal and can deal with any situation calmly with a minimum of fuss.
