My name is Helen and I have been a Nanny for 4 Years with experience in a nursery for 7 Years previously.
I have worked with children with a variety of ages from 3 days old to 6 years old, loving all ages and developmental stages.
I am qualified up to NVQ Level 5 in childcare and I currently studying a Maternity Nanny course to further my knowledge and understanding about newborn babies and different nannying techniques. I am thoroughly enjoying this course and furthering my learning.
I also have my First Aid certificate, safeguarding Level 2 Qualification, Health and Safety certificate, DBS, Full driving license and Pass Plus licence and I have completed many professional development courses to further my knowledge on childcare. I am also Ofsted registered and have had an inspection, being marked as competent (best marking for a Nanny)
I am fun loving, motivated, helpful, patient, nurturing, understanding, reliable and organised. I have a great connection with all children and will do everything to make them happy, healthy and enjoy life to the fullest.
I love taking children out on adventures, discovering and creating memories and expressing their creative imagination, along with taking them to classes (e.g. gymnastics, playgroups, swimming, Dance classes etc) to further their developmental skills in all aspects of the EYFS. I am knowledgeable and up-to-date on developmental milestones and where children should be within their age and stage of development so plan and create activities and experiences to help them along the way. I love being outside with the children as fresh air and nature are very important to me and how the children can develop within a natural environment.
