Nicole, nanny in Clacton-on-sea

When I finished school in 2011 I went on to college where I passed my level one in child care and development and straight after went on to complete my level two and then decided I would prefer to work full-‐ time. I am a hard worker and I always put 100% into everything I do and love a challenge. I feel I have good people skills and am a very approachable person which I feel is very important when working in any kind of job. I am a good team worker and I also work well on my own.
The majority of my work experience is based after childcare, I have experience in working in a school, kindergarten and home setting with children from newborn to 10 years old. I completed my apprenticeship at Cann hall primary school and was there for 3 years in total when I left here I got the chance to go to India (Goa) in January 2015 to work in a preschool with the street children for some extra experience and to gain more knowledge about different cultures which was an amazing opportunity and which really helped me improve both personally and professionally. I also got the opportunity to gain more confidence and communication skills by becoming a nanny in Spain for a 5 months in August 2015 before deciding to move back closer to home. When I returned home I then had a successful interview at pebbles kindergarten and have since worked in the baby room caring for babies from birth - 2 years for just over a year now.
