Carla, nanny in Colchester

My name is Carla and I am an experienced nanny and nursery nurse. I completed my NVQ level 2 nursery nurse qualification whilst undertaking an apprenticeship at a private nursery in Swansea in June 2013. I then worked 3 days a week looking after an 18 month old little girl and her 4 year old brother (3 days a week). On the remaining two days I worked in a family centre offering support to children from underprivileged families. I am currently working as a live in nanny/au pair for an army family in Colchester, which includes looking after their 18 year old daughter with learning difficulties.

I am looking for a role that involves looking after and supporting a young family (either live in or live out). Due to my experience of working both as a nursery nurse and a nanny, I have extensive experience in all aspects of child care including support with primary school learning and encouraging participation in activities.

I don't drive yet but I am currently learning.

I have a full CRB check, have taken a first aid and food hygiene course and have nanny insurance.

I am very easy going and I believe easy to get on with. I love working with children and children seem to love me too!

I am not happy in my current role and so I am looking for a new nanny/au pair job in Colchester as I love the area.
