sister to three, very lovely younger siblings, gave me the privilege of supporting them to grow into happy, healthy and confident individuals.

Building on this experience, I then went on to complete a BA (HONS) in Early Years. The degree not only gave me specialist knowledge of how to support children's holistic learning and development, but three years of first-hand practical experience in a range of settings - from family homes, nurseries, children centres and schools.

After achieving my degree with First class honours, I was lucky enough to get the first job I applied for working in a Children Centre. It is here where I have been able to further strengthen my practice and gain confidence in providing high quality childcare.

All in all my experience has enabled me to have;

- A clear understanding of what children need to reach their potential and flourish - from clear routines to ensuring they have lots of positive praise.
- Confidence in providing high quality childcare - through offering stimulating environments, enriched with age-appropriate, fun learning experiences.
- Comprehension of EYFS and National Curriculum to a high level, to support them in their home environment to become confident learners.

There is so much more... but, at the crux of it all is recognising children are happier, healthier and perform better when they are full of confidence and have high self-esteem...this is the most fundamental thing in which all my experience has taught me!
