Emily, nanny in Congleton CW12

In 2012 I got a position at this nursery to carry out my apprenticeship. After completing this I got offered a full time job of 40 hours per week in the preschool room. Within this room I work alongside three other members of staff. I have up to 16 key children, whom I carry out weekly observations and next steps linking to the EYFS, and daily small group time activities.
Within the room I carry out the daily tasks including; carpet time, an adult led activity, serving lunch, helping children with their toileting needs, changing nappies, supervising outdoor play, preparing snacks, working with children with speech and language need, and forming relationships with parents, and working with some SEN children.
During my time at this nursery I have spent time working in each room, I enjoy all of these different age ranges but feel preschool suits me best and is where I can show my greatest potential.
