My name is Ellie and I am 20 years old currently studying Education & Early Childhood Studies at Cardiff Met University. A highly motivated, articulate and enthusiastic student with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to provide high-quality customer service. I am an enthusiastic, positive and hardworking individual. I am a people person and a committed team player. I am an extremely good listener who is willing to take on any tasks given. I have plenty of experience working with children from a range of ages. As I am currently studying a child related course, I am always working with children from all different settings, engaging with them, participating in activities with them both indoors and outdoors. As well as this, on my gap year last year, I undertook work experience with Ivy Lane Primary School in Chippenham, I worked in reception class taking on many roles and responsibilities, I supported both the teacher and teaching assistants, supervised children with classroom and play activities and I Interacted with children and meeted specific needs. This experience broadened my knowledge loads and I learnt so much in that year so couldn’t have thanked them enough. Also, now and again I am always babysitting my parents three god-children, aged 11, 8 and 5. Babysitting has taught me to be much more independent, responsible and taught me to cook. I have always loved cooking since taking GCSE Food Tech back in secondary school. I would love this opportunity to be a babysitter/nanny for a family and help them out. My family have always been an important part of me so I know how much family life means for people.
