I am 28 years old and enjoy being with children. I have a niece aged 4, and a nephew aged 2, and Imlove them to bits.
I helped at Camp America, near Philadelphia, looking after children.
My training was at Bishop Burton College, were I gained a distinction in Childcare Level 2.
I moved to London, and covered maternity leave for a year in a nursery.
I helped with the daily routine, teaching the children to read, count, learn the alphabet, colours, shapes etc. With the very young, I helped with meal times and changing nappies etc.
I looked after 3-5 children every day, and worked a 40 hour week?
Since moving back from London, I changed career, and have been working in retail. But having been reintroduced to childcare, with my niece and nephew, I would like to spend more time in this area.
