Kate, nanny in Crewton DE24

I have worked in childcare for over 10 years. I started my career as an apprentice nursery nurse, looking after children between the ages 3 months to 6 years old. After qualifying and gaining experience with all ages and running the Pre-school room I decided to become a live in nanny. I looked after 4 boys aged 2 weeks old, 4, 6 and 8 years old. My job was to assist the mother in all of her duties from homework, entertaining, rewarding, school runs, daily routine, cleaning, cooking etc.
I then became a part time live out nanny for 2 girls aged 3 and 7, (here I became an Ofsted registered nanny) as well as a part time nursery nurse. After a year I was promoted at the nursery to deputy manager so became full time at the nursery. Here I have helped develop the nursery, making sure strict policies and procedures are kept to, as well as helping with planning for the development and entertainment of children aged 3 months to 12 years old.
