Sheila, nanny in Crigglestone

Hello and welcome let me introduce myself my name is Sheila. For the last 30 years I have worked in the N.H.S as a Nursing/ Midwifery Sister and Health Visitor.My professional qualifications are State Enrolled Nurse (S.E.N 1979), State Certified Midwife (S.C.M 1982), Registered General Nurse (R.G.N 1986), and Health Visitor (R.H.V 2004).My passion and commitment to Childcare continued and as a result of this for the last 3 years I have been working as a 'Career Nanny' in a variety of roles.For example, After School Nanny for 2 siblings aged 10 & 8, Maternity Nanny for 4 month old Twins, Maternity Nurse for a 5 day old jaundiced newborn, and Nanny to 2 siblings aged10&4.(More to see via my CV).
My qualities as a Childcarer are that I am a caring, loving and fun lady who adores children and is very patient, sensitive and understanding in relation to a child's needs.For example when I cared for a 4 year old child mum asked me to home school him prior to starting school in September 2016. I used my own teaching kit which enabled him to learn the alphabet, learn his colours and numbers.I then introduced this into the play we did which enabled him to be proactive with his learning.
I have on 2 separate occasions suspected Meningitis in children aged 2&3 years old.My prompt professionalism saved both these children's lives.
