Hi, I'm Laura !

I am 26 and live in Dorchester. I'm a gentle, kind and warm person. I have a qualification in Child Development, and have informal experience in childcare with younger cousins. Most of my experience if from my next door neighbour's little girl who I have babysit since she was tiny. We have a great relationship now and always have lots of fun together!

I am an animal lover and love to get outside! I'm also a hard-worker who likes to keep on my toes! I have lots of energy and a good sense of humour. If I am in your home I am also happy to cook, do your shopping or a bit of cleaning.

I also have a diploma in art & design and a degree in textiles. I love to craft, draw, colour, make and create - and hope that this is something I can share with children.

I think that learning is important and I am always willing to help with homework and take some time to explain things to children if they don't understand something. I like to get the children involved with what I'm doing whether thats cooking, housework or walking the dog. I like to engage with them also through play or activities such as reading. Their safety and wellbeing will always be my priority.

At the moment I'm looking for full or part-time work, ideally something regular but I am also available for occasional work or one-off jobs. Although I have a driving license, I do not currently have a car - but providing I can get to you on public transport / on foot I am happy to travel up to 1 hour each way to get to you.

Explanation:

I charge £8 an hour for full or part time care. Babysitting throughout the day is also £8 an hour, but I charge £10 an hour for late shift (after 10pm) or all night stay.

I will cover the cost of travel to get to you, but would need you to supply cash on the day for any extra travel costs required with the children throughout the day, or for any spending they might require on days out.
