Hi,
My name is Stephanie and I'm 25 years old. I'm from Sweden but are moving to Edinburgh in June. I'm a qualified primary teacher in both Sweden and Scotland. I'm also a member of PVG.
The reason that I want to be a nanny instead of a teacher is that I want to take care of just a few children instead of a whole class. I love to plan fun activities where you also can learn.
Before I finished my studies at the university I worked as a
substitute teacher, somtimes I worked with after school activities so I have a lot of experience of that too.
At high school I went to a class with focus on music and I still love music, mostly singing but also playing instrument. While growing up I played a lot of sports, for example floorball and handball. Now a days I do a lot of dancing instead. I think it's really important to move a lot and use your whole body.
I have experience of children with different backgrounds and special needs for example autism.
