Hi, my name is Lyn and I qualified as a Nursery Nurse in 1982. As you can see from my statement above I have continued working within a child orientated field all of my working life. I have loved overcoming challenges and seeing them through to a happy conclusion.
My years of working in different environments has enabled me to see things from all sides and I have an old head on very young looking shoulders. All of my experiences have brought me to a stage in life where kindness and enjoying every moment in the day are of the most importance.
Having worked and run nurseries I have been responsible for the organisation of the activities alongside small teams of other professionals giving every child the time to experience both inside and outside play in equal measures. Just a few of these activities included imaginative, messy, group, individual, circle, physical, musical as well as going out on visits to local farms, zoos, parks etc.
During the past 13 years I have run a music franchise called Rhythm Time for under fives having the pleasure of working with children AND their parents/carers enjoying making music together enhancing the babies', toddlers' and pre-schoolers' development.
Having just sold the business I am keen to find another happy environment where I can come to work each day and bring all of the skills I have at my disposal.
