Hi, My name is Sam .
I'm looking at getting back into childcare after taking 18 months off to go back into education. Therefore I'm looking for something to go alongside my current job (Sainsbury's, Barnstaple) or something to take over from it.
I'm an enthusiastic person who loves the outdoors, and understands the need for children to gain an appreciation for it from a young age. In my spare time I do a lot of wildlife photography, which sparked my passion for nature.
I'm extremely patient, calm and well-mannered, and having worked in Nurseries and Pre-schools for 7 years, I've learnt that a good relationship with parents is just as important as a good bond with the child.
I'm NVQ level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce, and NVQ level 2 qualified in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
I also have a Junior Sports Leadership award, and appreciate how important sport is to promote an active lifestyle for children.
Occasional babysitting | $7.00 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $8.10 per hour |
Home nanny | $7.50 per hour |
I'm a fully qualified NVQ holder in childcare with 7 years of experience in Childcare. I believe babysitting requires less work therefore a slightly lower charge is acceptable despite the unsociable hours, part time care is harder as you don't spend as much time with the children as full time, therefore it's harder to form a good connection with them, and full time care would require a matching wage that I'm currently on.
