Lauren, nanny in Grove OX12

Hi my names Lauren and I have worked in childcare for over 6 years, I hold a level 3 qualification in childcare and I am also paediatric first aid trained. I have two younger siblings who I used to live with so also have some experience with the older age range (6+yrs). The majority of my experience is working in a private day nursery, I have been a room leader for a baby room and toddler room so would say the majority of my knowledge is with under 3 yrs old, I am currently a nursery manager but would now love to work more closely with children. My roles as a nursery nurse/room leader involved me risk assessing on a daily basis, ensuring the children feel safe and happy in their environment as well planning fun and exciting activities, creative activities are a firm favourite and I believe children should be encouraged to explore and make noise!
