Hello, my name is Lottie(female) I am 19 years old 20 in October. Since I left school in 2014 I went on to go to college to study health & social care were I received my level 2 qualification. While I was studying h&S I did work experience at the orchard school which is a primary school for children with special needs. I really enjoyed my time there and one day would like to go back maybe for a full time position. I then thought I'd do a childcare course and that's exactly what I did. I worked for a nursery while I was there, wiggles & giggles to be exact and I absolutely loved it! for the first few months I worked with the under 18 months and really enjoyed myself and learnt so much. I got complimented by the teachers and the parents on a daily basis and received a couple of babysitting jobs along the way. i made my way through the years to end up working with the 4-5 year olds and I loved that just as much! It's safe to say I just love being around children no matter what there age. Unfortunately due to family matters I had to leave college early and therefore didn't receive my childcare qualification, but I did pass all my units and was only 6 weeks away from the end date. I've had many babysitting jobs from then onwards but just as a job on the side. I'm now ready to leave my current job (retail) to do what I love most, looking after the little ones and helping out as much as I can.
I don't drive myself but I can get lifts of family members + public transport/ taxis if needed!
Thank you for taking the time to read this, any questions just ask! :)
Occasional babysitting | $8.50 per hour |
i believe the price I've given is very reasonable especially for the service I'm willing to give. I've made my work affordable so I can help as many families as I can.
