I am 20 years of age and have been involved in childcare since I left school. I started nannying for a family friend who had broken her arm and needed help with her 6 month old and her 3 year old as a temporary basis until she got better. I ended up staying working with them for a year/ year and a half. During this time I volunteered at a local Nursery for a few mornings a week and ended up completing both my level 2 + 3 child care qualifications within the 5 years of staying there and becoming in charge of two classrooms and two members of staff with some managerial experience also working full time. I have experience of taking the children I nannied for out for fun days e.g to soft play or parties they needed to go to/ swimming lessons etc..
