Sophie, nanny in Hessle

My name is Sophie , I'm 22 years old. I am a kind and caring person who loves children and animals. I live with my boyfriend and we hope to have children ourselves in the future.

I was brought up by my mum mostly as my dad worked a lot. I love how caring she is and that she would always do fun activities with me and my sisters such as baking, painting and colouring and she even made our homework fun. Whenever I look after children I always use the lessons I've learnt from my mum and how she handles situations, to this day my mum is my best friend and I remember the fun times I've had with her and my sisters so I love to be able to provide care and help families with child care and use the experience I gained growing up.

My youngest sister Emily is 13 and I was 9 when she was born. I would help my mum with child care as soon as Emily was born. I would help with feeding and bath time and would always play with my sister and have fun.

Since the age of 14 I started baby sitting for my sisters friends. Various parents would recommend me to each other and for example I babysat two girls Hannah (4) and Evie (2) up until they were 12 and 10. I baby sat them on week nights and weekends. I would cook the girls tea and they both went to dance class so we would sometimes practice there routines and they would talk to me about school and always ask me to braid there hair once they were in there pjs and ready for bed. Evie the youngest would always like me to read her stories in bed.

In the last year and a half I have taken care of a little girl called Lois. Her parents both have full time jobs and the work shifts. Lois is 18 months old. I take her to nursery on a Monday and Thursday at 9am and collect her at 1:00. I sometimes drive to collect her if it's raining or take her pram if it's nice weather. Then once back at the house Lois naps from around 1:15 till 2:30
And she will have a fruit snack or youghurt and her favourite things to do include playing on her slide and swing in the garden or to go to the park. Lois also loves to play with her teddys and wrapping paper and boxes. When I take Lois to her Grandmas house, she loves to play with her dog. I love taking care of Lois, I cook her meals and bath her and put her to bed and naps. Lois's mum would like another baby so she has decided to give up full time work.

I am looking to help a new family either full or part time, week days or weekends. I have helped with new borns to 13 year olds. My current employer is happy to provide a reference if needed and I am available for interviews at your convince.
