Magda, nanny in Hounslow

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Magda, I am 30 years old and I am looking for a Nanny job.
I am a very well organised, flexible, punctual, friendly, emotionally supportive and emphatic person. I love to spend time with children. I am very proud when I am able to teach them something new and I see that they are happy. I am a very patient person. I have got seven years childcare experience.

My experience has taught me how to set up classes and various games, entertainment activities, kindergarten’s festivities for children from 2.5 to 4 years old as well as being creative and colourful. My experiences further include organising educational trips and entertainment activities for a group of children.

From May 2016 I work as a live – out Nanny/ Housekeeper. I take care of two boys of ages 12 and 14. My duties are to drop the children off to school and pick them up occasionally, taking boys to after – school activities and organising their free time especially over the school holidays. From time to time I help children with doing their homework. I cook meals for boys, do the laundry and ironing and keep the house clean and tidy. Twice a day I take a dog for a walk.

From September 2015 to May 2016 I worked as a Nursery Nurse in the private nursery. I was responsible for a group of up to 8 children between ages of 2/3 years. I planned activities for key children and taught them, ensure a healthy, safe and clean environment is always maintained. Every day I took children for outdoor play and organised games and activities for them.

From October 2014 to August 2015 I worked as a live – out nanny. I took care of two children of ages 3 (boy) and 6 (girl). Here my duties were to drop the children off to school and nursery and pick them up. I meet their parents to discuss weekly plans and report on their progress as well as arrange games and other entertainment activities for the children such as taking them for walks, to the playground and to various playgroups.

I have learnt to work with children of various ages, each with their own personalities and interests. My educational studies helped me to learn the theoretical side of how I should individualise my work with children of different ages and motivate them to the next exercises. My work experience and studies helped me to acquire the necessary skills and increased my level of confidence within the work place.

Furthermore, I am multi-lingual. I can speak English, Polish and Norwegian. These language skills enable me to communicate with children with limited English language skills. I feel this ability to be advantageous for the children as well as for the kindergarten.
Finally, I feel that I have so much to give children. I can’t imagine myself in any other job as it is what I love doing. I have always wanted to work with children hence my studies in the field. In work with children I put my whole heart and I get involved completely in what I'm doing.
