Tiana, nanny in Hucclecote GL3

My name is Tiana and I am 19 years old.

I finished Sixth Form last summer where I studied 3 subjects; English language, Psychology and French. Whilst studying English, I learnt a great deal about child language development and I love seeing children progress each day!

I am currently living in Gloucester and work at Tescos doing night shifts but looking after children is my passion and the career I would love to have.

I would describe myself as energetic, bright and kind and caring. I have an older sister who is 23. As an infant, my sister taught me a lot of valuable things and I was always copying her. I would love to feel like a big sister to your children as its important to have someone to look up to, like I do my sister. For hobbies, dancing is my passion. Another passion is playing the piano, although I am not very good, I try to teach myself. I also love swimming, cycling, badminton and taking walks. I enjoy looking after animals, dogs especially. I have worked for 5 years at a very well known Dog’s kennels and it’s been one of the best jobs and experiences I have had.

I would love to work as a nanny due to my love of children. I have had previous experience volunteering for a few months at a nursery looking after children as young as 8 months old. Additionally, I was an au pair in Paris for 8 months looking after 3 children aged 5, 10 and 12. I also have a baby cousin who will be 3 years old in September who I babysit for, a lot of the time.
