Samantha, nanny in Kilsyth G65

Hi I'm Samantha. I live in Kilsyth with my partner and two adorable cats! I do drive so i find this a great advantage for timekeeping. I have no children of my own but I have been known as the family and friends babysitter... having looked after children on my own from 1 month old to 9 years old.
I studied one year at college doing Child health and Social Care and gained my First Aid Certificate and a lot of knowledge from this.
I always find fun things to do with kids whether it be indoors ie playing with toys, colouring in, playing games or outdoors at soft play (I have so much fun there too), swimming, swing parks, feeding ducks or going a fun walk. I do try and educate through out these fun times.
I would like to gain more experience than I have as I would like to work in a nursery or school with children in the future and I find this would be a great opportunity to start my career.
I would say I'm very polite, fun, respectful and I am genuinely great around children!

I worked one hour a day during school hours with a child who had learning difficulties, doing activities on the computer and paper to help him in his classes at school. I worked with this boy for 4 months, monitoring his process and was praised by his parents as he had never been able to read more than a few lines from a book and struggled enormously with his homework but with help from myself he had managed to read a full book and homework time was made a lot easier. From doing this I received a DHL and Princess Diana award.
