Rachael, nanny in Linlithgow EH49

I am a fully qualified nursery nurse with an SVQ 3 in Children's care, learning and development. I have three years experience of running a preschool room. I also have experience of working with primary aged children due to placements at college and university. My experiences within the nursery gives me excellent knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence so I fully understand the outcomes which need to be covered whilst the children are in education. This is something which I can develop whilst the children are in my care and allows me to help where I can with homework.

I am looking to support a small family with two or three children by offering to care for them for 20-30 hours a week. I am turning my skills to nannying as I want to use my experience and knowledge of the child care sector so I can channel all my experience and skills to support a smaller number of children. I feel that children are able to learn successfully when they have 1:1 care.

I am a bright, confident and bubbly individual who feels that learning can happen in any environment. I am happy to take the children in my care on outings and play outdoors as I feel outdoor play is vital.
