I am a 53 yr old single lady with two grown-up children, looking for childcare work in the Liverpool area, from the middle of June 2015.
I have worked as a foster carer for the past year, providing total care for two teenage boys, and have also done several years of childminding younger children (including respite care of two disabled children), and three years nurse training, which included paediatrics.
I also raised my own 2 children, therefore have gained a lot of experience over the past thirty years! I am looking for full time work preferably, and am very flexible regarding the hours I would be working.I can provide care for up to two chidren of any age.

Diane worked for us as a childminder caring for our daughter from the age of 9 months to 4.5 years old. She looked after our daughter for about 10 hours per day in her own home. We only (and reluctantly) stopped the working relationship because we moved away. Diane was like a second mum to our daughter. She went out of her way to nurture our daughter and help her learn. She provided well-balanced and healthy meals. She is completely trustworthy and dependable, very caring and kind. Our daughter enjoyed her time with Diane so much, she never wanted to leave at the end of the day. Diane spent a lot of time teaching her, such as teaching her to read, etc. I highly recommend Diane and would be happy to speak with anyone individually about her qualities and abilities. Honestly, I cannot think of any flaws in Diane's character. Our daughter had such a good relationship with her that she has maintained the relationship with her and has visited Diane many times over the years.
