My name is Katie and I am 18 years old. I have been interested in child care most of my life and have recently completed a health and social care course in sixth form, part of my course was to volunteer in Alder Hey Children's Hospital which I believe has given me great experience with caring for children from new born babies to 15/16 year old boys and girls. I find myself to be a very laidback and patient person. Throughout my course in sixthform i completed several different types of training including; child safeguarding, fire safety, control of substances hazardous to health, equality and diversity manual handling and general health and safety.
