Paige, nanny in Llandudno junction LL31

I am a 19 year old female from Llandudno Junction. Currently unemployed but very interested in perusing a career in child care.

I am currently able to work full or part time and work various hours.

my qualities as a child carer are:
Patience: I have the ability to wait something out (Ex. a tantrum) without getting riled up or angry.
Initiative: I can use my knowledge to make a leading action. if there is an emergency i will stay calm and make responsible decisions.
Hardworking: No matter how many hours I'm working i will complete the task to the best of my ability every time.
Positive attitude: Always positive and caring for a child/children with a smile on my face.

I have completed work experience in both a primary school, helping to teach and care for children between the age of 4-11 years old, and a nursery where I helped care for babies aged between 6-12+ months.

Between the ages of 15-18 I also had a major part in helping my mum and step dad care for my brother (12) and sister (7) as my mum was very ill and my step dad worked full time. This meant I helped get them ready for school and made sure they arrived there with everything they needed, to make sure their clothes were clean, that they were always fed on time, making them meals, making sure they completed all homework and that they were both in bed at a reasonable time to school the next day. This experience helped me gain skills in child caring and pushed me forward to wanting to pursue a career in caring for children.
