Charles, nanny in Lytham FY8

I am an enthusiastic, driven and dedicated individual currently studying at Norland College for nannies. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy spending time with friends and playing sports.

I am looking for full time temporary work over the summer with children aged 2 and above. I am passionate and see childcare as my vocation which I believe is my greatest quality. I am kind and considerate with a caring nature who can relate and support children effectively. I understand the needs of children and can build a professional and trusting bond with children as part of my practice.

To summarise my experience in early years , I have worked in a nursery for a year and still return to work throughout academic holidays. As well as that, I have spent multiple summers at a holiday camp in Italy for children aged 3-13 and my role was to be the, ‘Activity Coordinator’ which worked well with my passion and experience in sports as I organized activities such as Football, Tennis, Beach volleyball and swimming and I adapted each sport to the different age groups that took part. I have been babysitting since the age of 16 and currently nanny/child mind for a number of families in Bath, some of which are on an adhoc basis and some as a weekly commitment. I have experience with special needs too through the placements that I have had with Norland such as special needs schools. As well as providing one to one care with children with special needs such as ADHD and Autism. Throughout my time starting from college to university now at Norland my various placements have included: nurseries, kindergartens, forest pre-schools, state schools and special needs schools.
