Hello, dear all,
I'm a young traveller currently residing in the UK, and I'm searching for a job - while I have most of my experience as a housekeeper, cook and gardener, taking care of children comes very naturally for me, and I would love to find a job that combines working with people and taking care of their surroundings.
I'm very bubbly by nature with equal amounts of silent rest periods, and I treat everybody as an equal - meaning, I'll talk to a child the same way as I would talk to anybody, respectfully and without enforcing authority, yet I will let them know what to keep in mind to stay safe.
My experience has been mostly taking care of my cousins (now age 7 and 12) and nephews (now age 1 and 3) since they were babies, and occasionally taking care of my friends kids. Also have been an Au Pair in Italy for 6 months, being a nanny and a best friend to an 11 y/o.
I'm a painter and drawer among other things, and this is the main activity I teach to children. Or cooking simple things. Or being outdoors, making paper boats to let in the river, or blowing big colourful bubbles, or helping them when maths homework becomes a bit too difficult.
