Karen, nanny in Marple SK6

Hi, my name is Karen. I am looking for a position with a family who want the best possible care for their child. My approach to childcare is that children need to be loved, cherished and have as many positive experiences of the world as possible. I also believe children need clear boundaries in order to feel relaxed and safe. I love being creative with children, cooking and being outside. My professional experience covers a wide range, this includes nanny positions, private nursery, children's holiday rep, paretning support advisor, running parenting groups, behaviour management, nurture groups, emotional support, anger managment, child protection and restorative approaches among many. I am married and have my own children who are 11 and 15, and have worked with children up to age of 12. I currently work full-time in a primary school and am studying to become a counsellor. I attend college 1 day a week on a Wednesday and see clients one evening a week. I am looking for a permanent position of 3 days a week, I am flexible about start and finish times and will also be available some weekends.
