Hi there! My Name is Rebekah , I am 26 years old. Currently I work part time running my own business as a Beauty therapist / makeup artist. I have decided that through my love of childcare I am going to spend a limited amount of time in this sector and instead put all my devotion into something that is meaningful to me. I am a homeowner and I hold a full valid UK licence with no points or suspensions. My experience in working with children varies from different ages, the youngest being new born to the age of 9 years old. I love helping in a Childs development and encouraging them to learn and be imaginative. I feel it is very important they have one to one time to help them at any stage. Im fully confident in my work and no task is to small, I have a passion for good healthy cooking and do not shy away from doing housework as I feel its also important for a child to be in a healthy clean environment and to assist parents in there busy work days.
A general day of looking after my friends 3 year old consists of breakfast, nursery drop off then I will look after her 2 year old until the 3 year old is finished nursery then I have them both. We get home to have some lunch which I usually prepare in the morning (depending on what they would like that day ). In the afternoon her 2 year old goes for her nap. This is when I organise a fun activity, for example, baking, messy play, walks, general play, boardgames, learning activities. Housework I will do when 3 year old is at nursery. For older children that have homework etc I will look over everything once they are home and help assist them in what they have to do.
