I was born in the north of Ireland and moved to Newcastle back in 2004 for University, where I studied Politics and Media studies.

For the past six years I have been working mainly in the catering industry and have pick up plenty of culinary skills. However, I'm a hearty, healthy food gal.

My mum is a registered child minder and mum of 7 to which I am the oldest so I have been around children my entire life.

I have been married to my lovely husband Shane for the last three years and we are very happy. He's currently a mature student at Northumbria.
