Rhiannon, nanny in Newport

I am currently employed as a live-in nanny working with a toddler. I am entrusted with caring for this children and attending to his social, emotional and developmental needs. My duties include organising day-to-day activities and daily cleaning.

I have experience of teaching within Welsh and English medium primary settings. This experience has been a credit to me whilst being a nanny as I am familiar with the school environment and their ways of teaching. I am also better able to support the transition into nursery/ reception.

I have also worked with children with additional learning needs in a communal setting.

I am a keen and passionate individual, who enjoys working with children. Anyone who works with children knows the joys of helping kids to find themselves, the pride in being a part of the process of raising a child, and the simple fun of play. We know that things we do today have long reaching effects and the work we do is important. But to me what makes being a nanny unique is that I can interact with the whole family, which can have deeper and more lasting benefits than a teacher or coach.
