Kat, nanny in Penicuik EH26

Hi my name is Kat, I am 28 years old and have a 1 year old girl, who I love so much, and that’s why I want to help other parents, as I know the struggle.
completed Early Learning and Childcare Academy SCQF Level 4, Childhood Practise SCQF Level 5, Emergency Paediatric First Aid SCQF Level 6, Preparation for Working in Childcare, Social Care SCQF Level 2, and Childcare- Intermediate 1.

I am very interested in childcare/babysitting and nanny jobs that are available. I have recently completed an Introduction to British Sign Language course and it has built up my confidence in talking to people. My skills and qualitiies are; being helpful, honest, good listener, punctual and hard working.

Work Expereiences: Saltersgate Primary School 2017, Scared Heart Primary School 2016, Milton Bridge Nursery 2015, Mauircewood Nursery 2013, and Pinocchio's Private Nursery 2013.

Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy playing the Euphonium and being part of the Penicuik Silver Band. The band has taken part in various Competitions and Contests and have recieved a gold certificate. I also enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding and golfing.

All my work placements/volunteering have helped me gain more confidence in myself and actually believe I can achieve anything with just one little push.

I love doing arts and craft with the children, jigsaw puzzels, playing with cars/lorries and trucks, exploring outside and doing indoor activities when it is raining outside. Going to the park, playing football, catch the ball all other outdoor games.
