Hello,

I am twenty-one years old and a recent First Class Honours graduate from a BA (Hons) in Drama and Musical Theatre performance. I am an extremely warm and friendly person who loves looking after children. I play piano to grade 5 standard and can teach the basics of piano and how to read music to children. I also love to sing so love to encourage children to express themselves.
In my fourth year at high school I completed a weeks work experience at my local primary school. It was a very enjoyable experience as I love playing games with children and making them happy.
In my sixth year at high school I volunteered every fortnight with a charity called Interest Link. We were working with children from 8-13 with mild learning difficulties on activities to improve their communication and social skills. This was a very enjoyable and rewarding experience as I had the opportunity to see the children growing from week to week.
I achieved two A's (Music and Drama), one B (French) and a C (English) in my Higher exams and one A (Music) at Advanced Higher level.
I have had a lot of experience looking after the children of my neighbours and family friends. Contact details for these people will be provided on request.
I have always loved looking after children and making them feel loved and happy. I find it very rewarding. I enjoy arts and crafts (although children are probably better at it than I am!) and embarking on games with children.
I can help children with homework and I also love reading to them. I think it is important to read to children from a young age as it brings a love of reading into their lives early on.
