Hello my name is Elizabeth but most people call me Liz. I am a very caring individual that is very good at thinking on my feet. I love practical work and take great pride and satisfaction in working with children. I find it very rewarding as a career choice.
I grew up on a farm in the countryside and have very strong family values.
I am currently looking for around 20/30hours a week on weekdays working with children, but I can happily split this between a few families if need be. I am more then happy to cook, help with household work, and also care for any family pets along side caring for children.
Some of my interests and hobbies are cooking (especially baking), reading, sports, music, animals and circus skills.
For 8 months i lived in Spain and helped looking after a autistic 3 year old boy and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life!
I have looked after nieces and nephews and also experienced working within a primary school setting for work experience.
For my Duke of Edinburgh award I set up and taught children circus skills after school. I did this as part of my service to the community award.
I have held DBS checks in the past and also have a Paediatric first aid certificate.
In the past I have done a food hygiene certificate with other employers.
I have a BTEC National Diploma in Media and 6 GCSE's grade A-C including Catering B, English C, maths C.
If you would like to ask me any questions don't hesitate to get in contact.
Sincerely Liz
