My name is Clydie, I’m 19 and live in Pontypool. I’m open to any type of work. Ever since I was a child myself I always wanted to work with children. My dream is to be a teacher, to shape children/ young people’s minds and help them develop skills for life. I find working with children very rewarding and fun. I hold a level 1 in Early Years and childcare along with Level 1 safeguarding. I love also had a certificate off the Mayor of Torfaen for working over 100hrs of voluntary work as a play worker for summer play scheme for children. I feel that every child is different so no matter what certificate you hold, you still need to develop a friendship with the children to be there for them and their personal needs. I love arts and crafts, baking, walking, reading and watching films. I feel that I connect with children because they don’t have the added pressure of being an adult, they're simply free.
