Jessica, nanny in Rotherham S60

My name is Jessica Dent, I am 18 years old, and have just finished my journey at Maltby academy sixth form and am looking for some work.
Ever since a young age, I have always had the ability to click with people, immediately connect and communicate with them, whether it be a young child or an elderly person. I have had a lot of experience in particular when it comes to taking care of children, from babysitting siblings to working in the under 5s section of a primary school. I have always wanted to help people reach their complete maximum potential in life and use their skills to the best of their abilities as I have always had a passion for helping people. When I see a person achieve something through my help, I get a feeling of pride of their behalf.
I achieved extremely good results in my GCSEs including a Distinction* (A*) in health and Social care (coupled with aspects of childcare) and am looking to go down a similar route with my A Levels.
I am looking to achieve a distinction (A) in level 3 health and Social care. During studying level 3 Health and Social Care, I have learned important factors of normal child development and milestones along with developing a strong knowledge on the physical, intellectual, emotional and Social needs of a child. Along with this I also gained a massive amount of knowledge on confidentiality, dignity and anti- discriminatory practice in a place of work particularly in the healthcare sector and also different policies regarding child protection and safeguarding.
I am a down to earth, hard working fun person and I am willing to do anything to help the wellbeing of others, I work hard both in a team and independently and I am a genuinely bubbly character. I am predicted highly in all of my A levels, I have always been a very keen worker and I work well under pressure, which not many people do, I am eager to have a go at any task thrown my way and I can easily adapt to any situation, pleasant or difficult. I am also a very motivated, active person. I consider myself to be a very unique person, as I have a strong ability to devote my life in order to benefit the personal welfare of others.
I have always been knows as an easy person to talk to, I am known by my peers/ friends and family for my strong charisma and outgoing attitude. I absolutely love to cook! It's one of my favourite things to do, when babysitting my younger brother I try to teach him from a young age, as my mum did with me and it's been so beneficial to me ever since! When babysitting my siblings, I enjoy playing games with them, baking with them and also (which is popular with girls) hair styling, nails and makeup!
I am willing to care for children of any ages whether they be young babies or 16 years of age I really am open to everything.
