Hi my name is jess I'm 25 years, I'm from huddersfield and I live in thirsk with my fiancee. I enjoy baking, reading and going for walks. I am a qualified nursery nurse with 6 years experience caring for children 6 months - 8 years. I enjoy providing fun and stimulating experiences and supporting children in their learning and development. I have baked with the children I babysit for which they really enjoyed and of course when I worked in a nursery, other activities I have provided include marble rolling, model making and using different objects and making marks in paint. I have an NVQ 2 and 3 in children's, care, learning and development and I have a qualification in CPR. I have attended courses in EYFS, Every child matters, treasure basket and heuristic development and 5 a day communication and language for 2 year olds. I really like learning more in how children develop and I would really like to attend more courses in the future. I am 25 years old and the minimum hourly rate is £6.50 an hour and I think this rate suits for babysitting but for part time and full time care is a bit more as its care for a child/children during the day for up to 12 hours a day. As I am a qualified nursery nurse I will be doing exactly what I did when I worked in a nursery, providing fun and stimulating activities and experiences to support their learning and development.
