I am a recent graduate of French and Linguistics at the University of Leeds and have recently returned from a year working as an au pair in France in order to start training as a primary school teacher in September.
I am currently looking for work over the school holidays, either babysitting, part-time childcare or tutoring in English or French and can provide references for all of these roles.
I have extensive experience working with children of different ages and in different roles. During the last academic year I worked as an au pair in France, looking after two children aged 6 and 8 and have previously worked part-time in a nursery for six years with children from 0-5 years old. I have also worked in teaching roles; an after-school class leader of French and Art in primary schools, an English Language teacher in a summer school in Spain and an English Language assistant in two secondary schools in France.
As a childcare provider I encourage children to get outdoors and I really enjoy doing creative activities with children as well as cooking and baking. I am mature and reliable and more than willing to be flexible with days and times to suit you.
