Rosie, nanny in Wedmore

I am a confident, reliable and active 50 year old with a wealth of experience, having brought up my own children whilst balancing the demands of a challenging career.
Following 30 years as a police officer, I retired at the rank of Detective Inspector. I have a proven delivery record in all manner of policing skills but I actually consider that my greatest achievement has been in relation to the upbringing of my two sons. My eldest son is currently studying medicine at Southampton University and my younger son is a footman working for The Royal Household at Buckingham Palace.
I have a real interest in helping children to develop and creating trusting relationships with them. I am by nature very patient and have the ability to stay calm under pressure. I have lots of energy and am fun loving with an outgoing personality. I am especially well organised, have a responsible attitude to work and the ability to cope with unexpected situations. I was trained to drive by the police and hold a clean driving licence.
I thoroughly enjoy being in the company of children and young people and have a lot of social interaction with them through friends and family members. I live in Wedmore in Somerset and am married to a Chartered Surveyor. I have a number of hobbies, have an active social life and am an avid cook with a real interest in healthy eating.
Since retiring from the police I have worked in hospitality and more recently have also taken up a position as an ‘after school’ nanny working for a private household in Bristol. I find a role working with children to be especially rewarding and on that basis I now hope to take on an additional similar role which I am very keen to fit in with my current nanny post in Bristol.
